Why do you offering your services for free?
We can provide you our services for free because we are displaying banners on our statistic pages for the free accounts. Also, we are offering paid accounts - then the counter becomes invisible on your pages and we won't display the banners in your stat pages.
Can i track multiple pages within a website ?
Yes. One of the main advantages of our counter is that the stats are tracked for every page individually - with the same HTML code. There is no need to create the code for every single page.
I have many different websites - can i get a counter for each one?
Sure - there is no limit to the number of counters you can sign up for. Just create a counter for every website.
Do i have to download or install something ?
No - our counter works on every page and on every server. All you do is insert an HTML code provided by us on your pages.
How do i get the HTML code for my counter?
After you have registered, log in into your account and then click on the "Show HTML code" link. Then follow the instructions on that page.
How do I insert the HTML code into my web page?
The simplest way to add HTML to your page is to open your web page using a common text editor (WordPad or Notepad for example) and paste the code into your web page. It is important that the software you are using to create your pages does not modify the HTML code, or otherwise the counter may not be able to work properly.
To put the HTML code in the body of your page follow these steps:
- Open your web page with an text editor.
- Go to the website with your HTML code and click on the "Select all & copy to clipboard" link. OR, select the code in the text box with the mouse and click CTRL+C.
- Paste the HTML code into your page by typing Ctrl-V or choosing Edit-Paste from within your editing application.
- Upload your page(s) to your server.
How do I access my stats?
Just log in to your account and you will be redirected to the page with your stats. While logged in, you can click on "Reports" at any time to get back to your statistic pages.
What is the difference between a page hit and a visitor?
A "visitor" is an individual person. A "page hit" is a visit to a page. If a person goes to your web site and visits three pages, it will be counted as 1 visitor and 3 page hits. The "page hit" number tells you how many times your web pages were loaded in other people's browser. The "visitors" number tells you how many unique individuals came to your site each day (from midnight to midnight).
