Bus

A set of conductor which connect the functional unit in a computer.It is called a bus because it travels to all destination.There are local busses that connect elements within the CPU and busses which connect the computer to external memory and peripherals.The bus width determines the speed of data transmission.Most personal computer use 32-bit busses both internally and externally.Internal busses are configured in parallel; there are also serial busses between computer in network.
